What We Collect

HomeBase collects only what is necessary to provide the service: your email address for authentication, and the home, inventory, and maintenance data you choose to enter. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

Authentication

We offer Google OAuth and magic-link email sign-in via Resend. We store your email and display name. We do not store passwords.

Data Storage

Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted on DigitalOcean. File uploads (photos, documents) are stored in DigitalOcean Spaces with SSL encryption in transit.

Analytics

We use GoatCounter for privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics. No personal data is tracked. You can view our public analytics dashboard at any time.

Data Export & Deletion

You can export all of your data at any time from Settings. You can also delete your account entirely, which permanently removes all your data from our systems.
