Troubleshooting

Refrigerator not cooling

Cause: Dirty condenser coils, faulty thermostat, or blocked vents
Solution: Clean condenser coils, verify thermostat setting, and ensure air vents are not blocked by food items.

Ice maker not producing ice

Cause: Water supply issue, frozen fill tube, or faulty inlet valve
Solution: Check that the water supply valve is open, inspect the fill tube for ice blockage, and verify the water inlet valve.

Water leaking on floor

Cause: Clogged defrost drain or loose water supply line
Solution: Clear the defrost drain with warm water, and check the water supply connection for leaks.

Unusual noises

Cause: Condenser fan obstruction, evaporator fan issue, or normal compressor cycling
Solution: Check for objects near the condenser fan, inspect the evaporator fan blade, and ensure the unit is level.

Frost buildup in freezer

Cause: Door seal not sealing properly, frequent door opening, or defrost system failure
Solution: Inspect and clean the door gasket, minimize door openings, and check the defrost heater and timer.
