Reset Procedures
Filter Reset
- When Filter Reset indicator blinks red, water filter needs replacement
- Shut off water supply line
- Open filter cartridge cover
- Turn filter knob counter clockwise 90 degrees (1/4 turn) to unlock
- Pull cartridge straight out to remove
- Insert new Samsung-approved filter cartridge
- Turn cartridge knob clockwise to lock into place
- Close filter cartridge cover
- Press and hold Ice Maker button for 3 seconds to reset filter lifecycle
- Open water valve and run water through dispenser for approximately 7 minutes to remove impurities and air
Display Reset (Family Hub and AI Home Hub models)
- Open the fridge door
- Locate switch cover on top right corner of door
- Push up the cover to reveal power switch
- Turn power off
- Turn power on
- Reinsert switch cover to the end until clicking sound is heard
MAC Address Display (General type models)
- Press and hold both Freezer and Fridge buttons for 6 seconds
- Temperature panel will blink
- Press Freezer button again to display MAC address
- MAC address displays sequentially for 1 minute in format: -- / -- then 11 / 22 then 33 / 44 then 55 / 66 then -- / --
- After 1 minute, MAC address disappears and panel returns to normal state
