Reset Procedures

Turn Off Sound Notifications

  1. Press and hold Cubed Ice and Crushed Ice buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds

Turn On Sound Notifications

  1. Press and hold Cubed Ice and Crushed Ice buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds

Change Water Dispense Volume Unit

  1. Press and hold Mode button and Refrigerator button at the same time for 3 seconds to change from ounces to liters

Calibrate Measured Fill

  1. Flush water system first
  2. Place measuring cup on dispenser tray in center
  3. Press and hold water cup icon button for 3 seconds
  4. System enters calibration mode with Calibration icon illuminated
  5. Press and release water dispenser paddle to dispense water to cup fill line
  6. When dispensed 1 cup correctly, press water cup icon button to confirm
  7. Icons turn off and display returns to home screen

Change Temperature Unit

  1. Press and hold Freezer button and Mode button at the same time for 3 seconds to change between Fahrenheit and Celsius

Turn Showroom Mode On/Off

  1. Press and hold Freezer button and Refrigerator button at the same time for 3 seconds
  2. Showroom icon lights up when active; turns off when inactive

Reset Water Filter Status (Style 1)

  1. Press Pantry and Control Lock at the same time for 3 seconds to reset water filter indicator on side door panel

Reset Water Filter Status (Style 2)

  1. Press and hold Freezer and Drawer button for 3 seconds for Whirlpool models
  2. Press and hold Control Lock and Measure Fill button for 3 seconds for KitchenAid/JennAir models

Turn In-Door Ice Maker Off

  1. Press and hold Water dispense button and Refrigerator button at the same time for 3 seconds (Whirlpool models)
  2. Press and hold Cubed Ice button and Crushed Ice button at the same time for 3 seconds (KitchenAid/JennAir models)

Turn Freezer Ice Maker Off

  1. Locate switch on ice maker frame in top right area of freezer compartment
  2. Push switch to 'o' position to turn OFF

Sabbath Mode Activation

  1. Press Sabbath button on dispensing or internal controls and hold for 3 seconds to turn ON
  2. Press Sabbath button again for 3 seconds to turn OFF and turn Ice Maker back ON

Door In Door Auto Lights On/Off

  1. Press and hold Drawer button for 3 seconds
  2. When OFF: Auto light indicator is RED
  3. When ON: RED Auto light indicator is OFF

Citric acid permanently discolors stainless steel. Do not allow mustard, tomato juice, marinara sauce, citrus-based sauces, or citrus-based products to remain on stainless steel finish.

Avoid exposing stainless steel appliances to caustic or corrosive elements such as high-salt, high-moisture, or high-humidity environments.

Do not disconnect power before removing doors when removing refrigerator.
